Backpack Giveaway 2023

Back-to-school season is upon us and so is our annual kickoff to the season, our Backpack Giveaway event!

Residents at two of us Goldfarb Properties' largest communities, Harbor House in New Rochelle and Wavecrest Gardens in Far Rockaway, Queens, joined together to kick the school year off right. Joining us in the fun were Ben & Jerry's and Uncle Louie G's serving up sweet treats.

Teammates from both on-site and our corporate office helped distribute hundreds of backpacks and school supply kits to help make the school supply shopping less of a burden during the busy final days of summer.

A number of bags were even stuffed with unique prizes including a Mets baseball outing voucher, Regal movie gift cards, a Chromebook, and an exclusive private tour of the Bronx Zoo for one special family. Congrats to all of our special winners and best of luck to all of our youngest residents embarking on another year of school.
