Goldfarb Donates $1000 to the Food Bank for New York City

In the spirit of the season of giving, we are delighted to announce the results of our 2023 Holiday Giveaway. The excitement and generosity displayed by our residents truly warmed our hearts, and we are thrilled to share the results!

A Season of Giving Back

Every holiday season, we offer a special giveaway for our residents. This year, we offered one fortunate resident the chance to win $1000 off their rent. Simultaneously, we committed to donating $1000 to a local NYC charity, with the choice left in the hands of our residents. We believe in the power of community and asked our residents to actively participate in selecting a cause close to their hearts! 

With over 180 total entries from our residents, it was heartening to witness the enthusiasm and engagement as residents rallied together to make a positive impact on the city we all call home.

The Winning Charity: Food Bank for New York City

After tallying the votes, we are proud to announce that the Food Bank for New York City emerged as the winner, securing 37% of the total votes. This incredible organization works tirelessly to combat hunger and poverty by distributing food, resources, and support to the most vulnerable in our community. Founded in 1983, the network has nearly 1,200 emergency and community food providers including soup kitchens, food pantries, and more.
